Calling all young writer's ages 12-17! We're inviting Teens to practice the craft of writing, share their work, and enjoy the wonderful world of writing. Stop by for activities and discussion with other teen writers.

UNPLUGGED is a midweek mindfulness program for teens and tweens. It features low lighting, soft noise, and sensory tools. Each program features a different mindful activity to promote mental wellbeing. This week's activity is finger knitting!

Join us as Middletown's Teen Leadership Council meets. Tweens and teens, grades 6 through 12, meet to collaborate with each other and teen librarians on upcoming library events and to plan teen-led projects.

New to Anime and Manga? Longtime fan? Either way join us to celebrate it while talking all things art, story, cosplay, and culture! This month’s featured craft is Manga and Anime Zines! Materials provided, while supplies last.

Hang out and de-stress with Therapy Dogs from WAGS For Hope. Stress-relief activities will be provided. Ages 13-18. 

Have fun, make cards, listen to music, hang out. Come with friends or meet new ones. Cards will be donated to community-based health care and senior centers. Service hours are available.

Spend the first Thursday of the month with a game of chess! Open to all levels of chess players, bring your own chess set or use one of ours. Bring your friends and meet other chess enthusiasts. Ages 9-18. 

Take a trip through the Candy Kingdom and play the classic game on a life-sized board! 

Mine, build, and explore with like-minded tweens in our library Minecraft server! This program is intended for tweens ages 10-13. 

Teens: relax and relieve stress by spending time petting an adorable dog friend! For grades 6-12.

Do you like to paint? We will have salt dough ornaments available to paint with acrylic paints, personalize with markers, add glitter or sequins and then seal with a clear acrylic spray or mod podge.

Do you want to become an author? Do you love coming up with your own characters and stories? Are you an artist who wants to learn more about making comics?
