While supplies last, lunches are available for youth ages 0-18 each Tuesday June 17 -August 11.
Lunches are provided by Helping Hands and Caring Hearts, a local nonproft.

A multi-sensory storytime designed to support children with autism or sensory processing challenges. This time is designed to meet your child where they are in, a fun, engaging environment.

Is your child interested in learning how to care for a garden? Look no further! Join us for a fun morning of exploring, creating, and learning how to care for plants and gardens at the Emmitsburg Library. Ages 0-12.

Join us every Thursday this summer for a Tween/Teen Leadership Camp and earn Community Service hours each week. Today, we will create greeting cards for a local nursing home.

Enjoy a storytime, craft, or other fun activity with the whole family.

Practice reading to a furry friend with Wags for Hope. This program is designed for children ages 0-10.

Get ready for a day bursting with color, creativity, and laughter with Trist N' Shout Balloon Artist. You'll also have the opportunity to create your own masterpiece at one of today's hands-on art stations.

Calling all young heroes!

Carissa Barth with FIBE Dance will lead a fun and interactive line dance class just for kids. This event is ideal for kids under age 12. Be ready to Cupid Shuffle your way around the library deck!

What does it take to be a Junior Ranger with the National Park Service? Learn all about this exciting program - the badges, the booklets and even meet a real Park Ranger. 

Join Mr. Chris at the library this summer for “Color Our World” – a movement-filled adventure! This year’s program features 10 exciting PE-style stations, including rolling, underhand and overhand tossing, an obstacle course, and much more!

Participants will hear a story read aloud to inspire their curiosity about the wind. Participants will then create their own pinwheels to better understand the science behind wind energy.

Discover and explore the world around you through science, math, technology, history, art, and literature. Designed for kids in grades K-5.

Kids are your parents buggin' you to get out of the house? Crawl, fly, and wiggle your way into the Thurmont library for a bug-tastic program all about insects and other creepy crawlies. Build a bug and stop buggin' your parents!

Join us for a fun and engaging dance demonstration and mini class led by dancers from Leading Edge Academy of Dance. 

Bring home a piece of the beach in this hands-on craft! We will have small seashells to paint, decorate, and make your own! Age Groups: Birth-5, Elementary.

Join in the fun of creating a large mural! Kids will work together to design, paint, and bring their ideas to life on a big canvas.

Dress as your favorite hero (or come incognito!) Join us for a fun afternoon of crafts, games, and trivia celebrating all things superhero.

This program is for children in kindergarten through 5th grades (ages 5-10).
