Lunches are provided by Helping Hands and Caring Hearts, a local nonproft.

A multi-sensory storytime designed to support children with autism or sensory processing challenges. This time is designed to meet your child where they are in, a fun, engaging environment.

Is your child interested in learning how to care for a garden? Look no further! Join us for a fun morning of exploring, creating, and learning how to care for plants and gardens at the Emmitsburg Library. Ages 0-12.

Join us for our last Tween/Teen Leadership Camp and earn Community Service hours. We will have games, crafts and food while creating a scavenger hunt for the Children's Program.

Enjoy a storytime, craft, or other fun activity with the whole family.

There's just one week left of the Summer Reading Challenge—let’s celebrate with a fun-filled hour of reading, imagination, and play!

Drop your stuffed animal friend off at the library for a back to school sleepover on Saturday, August 2 (10-4:30)!

This book club is designed to build on the excitement of emergent readers with different books and related activities to enjoy with their peers.

Run away and join the circus without leaving home! Join former Ringling Brothers performer and professional knucklehead Gregory May as he builds his own wacky circus show.

Join us for an engaging and interactive workshop designed for children ages 3 and older, where curiosity meets creativity in a hands-on exploration of STEM!

Discover and explore the world around you through science, math, technology, history, art, and literature. Designed for kids in grades K-5.

Based on the I Survived series by Lauren Tarshis, explore the San Francisco earthquake through STEAM and history activities! Age Group: Elementary.

Join us for a colorful chalk party full of creativity, sunshine, and outdoor fun. We’ll provide the chalk, you bring the imagination! Draw big, dream bold, and decorate the sidewalk with rainbows, doodles, and your very own works of art.

Whether you game with a keyboard, controller, cards, dice, or meeple, join us for crafts, camaraderie, and gaming time! Bring your own Pokemon cards to play or trade.

Participate in a variety of experiences related to science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.  This program is designed for children in grades K - 5 and their caregivers.

Who loves books? We do! Come celebrate National Book Lovers Day by making a cool confetti bookmark of your own design. Ages 5-12.

Embark on the adventure of the summer, and search for hidden items and clues throughout the library. Geared for elementary-aged children.

Beat the heat and have fun exploring the library's many games and puzzles. 

This program is for children in kindergarten through 5th grades (ages 5-10).

Get ready for the school year with free supplies for students ages 0–18! Stop by the library to pick up essential school items provided by Helping Hands, Caring Hearts. While supplies last.
